BT Kaleidoscope is BT's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employee network.

Kaleidoscope is run by a steering group made up of staff working on a voluntary basis.

Kaleidoscope's objectives are to:

  • Provide a forum for mutual support to assist Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender employees with career development in BT.
  • Provide support and advice for people who wish to 'come out' in the business.
  • Create awareness to the company at large of the contribution LGBT people make to the performance of the company.
  • Provide a social calendar of events to assist with these objectives.
  • Become a national and global network and not be seen as a London or 'big cities' network
  • To promote BT as a diversity employer that recognises its gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees
  • Be an inclusive network that welcomes all employees of BT whatever their sexual orientation, race, gender, disability, age or marital status.
  • Membership of the network is completely confidential.
